I was watching some Seinfeld interviews, and there was an otherwise unremarkable one for the service Hulu. He was announcing Hulu streaming of the Seinfeld show. As he had some extra time onstage, he started fielding audience questions. Like many things in life, Jerry Seinfeld didn't like the question. However, he admitted he liked the "Marine Biologist" episode.
The George Costanza monologue at the end, was hastily written the night before the show aired. Jerry gave the script ending to Jason Alexander who had only one hour to learn it before the show. Jerry said that, normally, during the performances, he is thinking "that is funny." You can't tell in the final scene, but the entire time Jerry just can't believe that Jason was nailing the entire script!
So you don't have to watch the entire thing, here are just some good parts.
